The journey continues to create a new original collection that will elevate, preserve, and make accessible Chattanooga’s history through newly discovered photographs, postcards, and other historical artifacts.

Historic photographs by location

Most folks like you and I don’t have a long-term preservation plan for family photographs and ephemera. We’ll often choose to dispose of, sell, or toss family archives into a box destined for the bottom layer of a jam-packed storage locker or closet for future generations to rediscover – and the process repeats generation after generation.

Our mission is to conserve Chattanooga’s tactile legacy, converting it into a digital format for unobstructed access and open sharing without limitations.  There’s a sustainable home through this project for old photographs and ephemera connected to Chattanooga’s past.
